Wacom Cintiq Monitors cleaning or disinfecting

To clean Wacom Cintiq monitors you can use a clean dry soft lint free cloth to clean the surface of the monitor with a circular motion.
1. Make sure your cloth and the monitor are free from any grains of dirt or other hard material.  If grains of material are on the surface of the monitor gently remove them BEFORE you clean the monitor.  If there are grains of dirt or other hard material in the cloth or on the monitor during cleaning you will likely scratch the monitor.
2. Make sure the monitor is turned off before cleaning.
3. Lightly wipe the clean dry soft lint free cloth on the surface of the monitor on any touched surfaces until all fingerprints and smudges are removed.
4. Put cleaning cloth away and turn monitor power back on for use.

To disinfect the Wacom Cintiq monitors carefully follow these directions that are derived from the manufacturer.

3. Only use 70 or 75 percent isopropyl alcohol provided.  Using a higher percentage of isopropyl alcohol or a different type of alcohol may damage the monitor.
4. Spray one spray of isopropyl alcohol on a clean lint free cloth.  DO NOT SPRAY ANY LIQUIDS ON THE MONITOR OR ANY OTHER ELECTRONICS.
5. Lightly wipe the lightly moistened cloth on the surface of the monitor on any touched surfaces.  Stay away from any vent holes in the case of the monitor.
6. Wait for all moisture to evaporate.  The cloth with the isopropyl alcohol should be thrown away, if disposable, or put in a "used" bin for cleaning.  Do not let isopropyl alcohol touch painted surfaces or fabric as it may damage them.
7. Turn monitor power back on for use.
