_Download the installer and run the program. When installation is done, click the LockDown Browser icon on your desktop, log into Canvas and go to your course to take the exam. You will be prompted to close any applications running on your computer before you can launch the LockDown Browser application.
Installation of LockDown Browser for Chromebook is as follows:
- Log into the Chromebook and start the Chrome browser
- Log into the LMS using a student account, and navigate to the exam that requires LockDown Browser
- Select the link for downloading and installing LockDown Browser
- From the Chrome web store, select “Add to Chrome” to install the LockDown Browser Extension
