Smart TV

This is a general use guide for finding a MAC(physical hardware address) on a Smart TV. Please consult your specific device manufacturer for how to find the information on the specific TV you have.

1. Use your remote to open the Smart TV to open up the menu
   
2. In the menu look for network
   
3. Look for a menu that would give you networking info, it may be any of the following: network status, network information, network settings
   
4. Look for the address it will be in the following format xx:xx:xx:xx, made up of letters ranging from a-f and numbers ranging from 0-9.
   

Again this is just a set of suggestions. Please consult your specific device manufacturer for how to find the information on the specific TV you have.

**Once you have registered your device you will need to connect it to the MWSU-MACAuth network.

It may take up to 30 minutes for the registration process to complete.**
