Some classrooms are equipped with the Samsung 860 document camera, indicated on the base of the document camera. There are some features available in the SDP860 USBViewer that you may find useful when using these document cameras.

Opening the Application

To begin, open up the SDP860 USBViewer either from the icon on the desktop, or by searching "SDP860 USBViewer" in the windows start menu.

Improving Image Quality

When you first launch the program you may find that the image from the document camera is small and difficult to read. 

There are some settings that will need to be changed in order to improve the picture quality.

1. First, click the button in the top left of the screen that is labelled "SXGA".
2. Next, click the button in the top left of the screen that is labelled "Fit".

Full-Screen Features

• In order to view the image in full screen click the button in the top left of the screen that is labelled "Full"
• To exit full screen, you can either click the button labelled "ESC" at the top left of control panel window on the screen, or you can press the "ESC" button on the keyboard.
